Job summary

Janus Henderson Investors is seeking a senior leader to own and advance the enterprise data governance and stewardship program. You will set the governance framework, lead data domain management, and drive data quality across processes, reporting and analytics, including data products and AI enablement.

You will build a high-performing team, partner with executives to resolve definitions and risks, and establish transparent governance forums to deliver trusted data across the firm.

Qualifications

• Significant leadership experience in enterprise data governance and related disciplines.
• Proven ability to translate data strategy into operating models and governance forums.
• Experience in influencing senior stakeholders and driving accountability.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise data governance and stewardship across the firm.
• Provide strategic and operational leadership for data governance, domain management and triage.
• Own enterprise framework for data governance: policies, standards, controls and data quality.
• Oversee data triage: issue assessment, lineage investigation and remediation validation.
• Lead governance and certification of critical data elements and data products.
• Ensure clear data ownership across business, operations, tech and data management.
• Partner with senior leaders to resolve conflicting definitions and drive standards.
• Establish measures for data health, risk visibility and remediation progress.
• Build and lead a high-performing data management team.
