Job summary

Protocol Education is partnering with a welcoming secondary school in Chesterfield to recruit a Physics Teacher. You will plan and deliver engaging physics lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4, with some Key Stage 5 experience desirable.

This full-time permanent role welcomes experienced teachers and ECTs who are passionate about inspiring curiosity and academic excellence. You will join a supportive Science department, access excellent teaching resources and labs, and contribute to curriculum

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Degree in Physics or a closely related subject.
• Strong subject knowledge and understanding of the secondary Physics curriculum.
• Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Physics lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 experience desirable).
• Create an inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and achievement.
• Assess, monitor and report on student progress.
• Differentiate activities to meet diverse needs.
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management.
• Support students in developing analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Prepare students for internal assessments and external examinations.
• Contribute to curriculum development and STEM initiatives.
• Participate in STEM activities and enrichment opportunities.
