Job summary

Protocol Education Ltd is seeking a dedicated Physics Teacher for a secondary school in Worksop, Nottinghamshire. You will plan and deliver physics lessons, inspire students and support their progress across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential Key Stage 5 exposure.

The role suits both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are committed to safeguarding and delivering high-quality physics education in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification required.
• Degree in Physics or closely related subject.
• Strong knowledge of the secondary Physics curriculum.
• Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities.
• Commitment to safeguarding and welfare of children and young people.
• ECTs (Early Career Teachers) encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Physics lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Create a stimulating learning environment encouraging curiosity and critical thinking.
• Assess, monitor and report on student progress in line with school policies.
• Differentiate lessons to meet diverse learning needs.
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management.
• Prepare students for internal assessments and external exams.
• Contribute to science curriculum development and departmental initiatives.
• Participate in enrichment, STEM projects and appropriate extracurriculars.
