Job summary

Physics at Physics is seeking a qualified teacher of Physics to join a high achieving school with excellent resources and support in Chester. The role involves teaching Physics and Science to GCSE within an academic environment with highly motivated students.

You will plan, deliver and mark lessons, provide constructive feedback to students both written and verbal, and lead formative and summative assessments.

Qualifications

  • Required PGCE with a relevant bachelor0s degree or equivalent.
  • Holder of an up-to-date DBS certificate.
  • Excellent subject knowledge and strong classroom practice.
  • Good knowledge of the British Curriculum.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.
  • Pay scale based on M1 to UPS3, with actual pay depending on experience.

  • Have excellent knowledge of the British Curriculum
  • Maintain exceptional classroom practice
  • Work collaboratively and creatively with colleagues
  • Payment scale advertised is based upon the teacher pay scale from M1 to UPS3. Actual pay is based upon relevant teaching experience
