Job summary

Veolia Group in Falkirk is seeking a Chempac Chemist to label, package and assess hazardous waste drums while ensuring compliance with road transport and environmental regulations. You will collect wastes from customer sites, perform site assessments and maintain excellent customer relations under safety protocols.

The role requires a Chemistry degree or HNC, a valid UK driving licence, and good problem-solving and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• A degree or HNC in Chemistry (or relevant scientific qualification).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with good numeracy and literacy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• List, package, label and assess hazardous waste drums at customer premises and facilities.
• Collect wastes from customer sites and conduct site assessments with strong safety adherence.
• Sample wastes, pump leaking containers and manage spillage clearance using technical knowledge for customers.
