Job description

Epsom College, an independent co-educational day and boarding school on the edge of Epsom Downs, is looking to appoint a Chemistry Technician to work in the friendly technicians team in the preparation of class practicals and general servicing of laboratories.

You will have the ability and experience to set up and use the scientific equipment and chemicals with skill and accuracy. BSc or equivalent in chemistry is desirable although not essential.

The successful candidate will be highly organised, methodical and have experience of working within a laboratory or school prep room environment, as well as knowledge of health and safety regulations and familiar with CLEAPS. Team working, time management and excellent communication skills are essential for the post.
