Job summary

Aramark UK is recruiting a committed and motivated chef to join our team at IRC Campsfield in Kidlington. This permanent, full-time role offers 36 hours per week, Fri to Sun, with 12-hour shifts from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, and a pay rate of £15.20 per hour.

You will prepare meals for residents, supervise and support prisoner workers, maintain hygiene, and pass security vetting and DBS checks.

Qualifications

• Residency in the UK for the past 5 years
• Ability to pass full security vetting and DBS checks
• Previous chef experience and a passion for great food

Responsibilities

• Preparing and cooking quality food from a set pre-ordered menu
• Collaborating with prisoner workforces, guiding, and supporting them in culinary tasks
• Ensuring food is produced efficiently and in line with recipe sheets
• Completing kitchen paperwork and due diligence
• Maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness
• Being an effective team player with the confidence to manage conflict if needed
• Participating in ongoing training.
