HANA Group's Sushi Gourmet brand in Chester is hiring a full-time Chef Manager for morning shifts to lead a small team and ensure high-quality, safe sushi production. You will supervise staff, manage food safety, maintain brand standards, and deliver excellent service before the catering day begins.

The role starts early, with shifts at 6:00am on some days, and includes training, ongoing development, and a friendly, supportive work environment. Competitive hourly pay and benefits accompany you.

Qualifications

• Experience leading people and developing your team.

• Strong understanding of Food Safety & Health and Safety regulations.
• Ability to follow brand standards and company policies.
• Reliable transportation for early-morning shifts.

Responsabilités

• Be accountable for the kiosk and team, and uphold audit standards.
• Ensure high standards of cleanliness and on-site food safety.
• Prepare fresh ingredients by hand, including meat and raw fish.
• Label products accurately to meet allergen compliance.
• Work as a skilled multitasker in a small team.

Sushi Gourmet is recruiting a full-time (35 hours) Chef Manager to come and lead our team in Chester.

• Be accountable for the Kiosk and the team, maintaining audit standards for food and health & safety compliance while meeting EHO expectations
• Ensuring the team maintains a high standard of cleanliness and food safety on site to maintain a safe environment for our customers, our clients and ourselves
• Highly organised, with a focus on forward planning
• Prepare fresh ingredients by hand, including meat and raw fish products each shift
• Accurately labelling products ensuring lawful compliance around food safety and allergen compliance each shift.
• Be a skilled multitasker
• An early riser as shifts can start at 6:00am some days
• Learn new skills or improve skills already mastered

Level 2 Food Safety certificate, HACCP, Allergens and COSHH are Desirable although not essential as full training will be provided.
