Sushi Gourmet is recruiting a full-time Chef Manager to lead our team in Shrewsbury, Morning shifts only. The role requires early starts around 6:00am and a passion for high-quality, sustainable food.

You'll manage a small team, uphold food safety and brand standards, and deliver excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment at Retail Park, Hereford Rd, Meole Brace, Shrewsbury SY3 9NB. The role offers up to £15.00 per hour DOE, paid fortnightly, with benefits including free lunch on

Qualifications

• Experience leading people and developing a team
• Strong understanding of Food Safety & Health & Safety regulations
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain high standards
• Able to travel or commute to work early in the morning

Responsabilités

• Lead and manage the kitchen team to deliver high-quality sushi products
• Prepare fresh ingredients by hand, including meat and raw fish
• Label products to ensure allergen compliance and food safety standards
• Maintain audit standards for food hygiene and safety on site
• Ensure cleanliness and safety for customers and staff
• Work early shifts starting around 6:00am

• A good understanding of Food Safety & Health and Safety regulations, ability to follow brand standards and comply with company policies.
• Reliable transportation for your commute to work early in the morning

• Be accountable for the Kiosk and the team, maintaining audit standards for food and health & safety compliance while meeting EHO expectations
• Ensuring the team maintains a high standard of cleanliness and food safety on site to maintain a safe environment for our customers, our clients and ourselves
• Highly organised, with a focus on forward planning
• Prepare fresh ingredients by hand, including meat and raw fish products each shift
• Accurately labelling products ensuring lawful compliance around food safety and allergen compliance each shift.
• Be a skilled multitasker
• An early riser as shifts can start at 6:00am some days
• Learn new skills or improve skills already mastered

Level 2 Food Safety certificate, HACCP, Allergens and COSHH are Desirable although not essential as full training will be provided.
