Hana Group in Chester is seeking a Chef Manager for morning shifts to lead our sushi kitchen. This full-time role (35 hours) involves starting as early as 6:00am, supervising staff, ensuring brand standards and food safety across all on-site operations.

You will drive quality, manage daily prep, labeling, and allergen controls while maintaining a safe, clean environment and excellent customer service. Great for a proactive leader in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Experience leading staff in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Ability to maintain high standards and brand compliance.
• Strong knowledge of Food Safety and Health & Safety regulations.
• Willingness to work early mornings (6:00am shifts).
• Reliable transport for early shifts.

Responsabilités

Sushi Gourmet is recruiting a full-time (35 hours) Chef Manager to come and lead our team in Chester.

• Be accountable for the Kiosk and the team, maintaining audit standards for food and health & safety compliance while meeting EHO expectations
• Ensuring the team maintains a high standard of cleanliness and food safety on site to maintain a safe environment for our customers, our clients and ourselves
• Highly organised, with a focus on forward planning
• Prepare fresh ingredients by hand, including meat and raw fish products each shift
• Accurately labelling products ensuring lawful compliance around food safety and allergen compliance each shift.
• Be a skilled multitasker
• An early riser as shifts can start at 6:00am some days
• Learn new skills or improve skills already mastered

Level 2 Food Safety certificate, HACCP, Allergens and COSHH are Desirable although not essential as full training will be provided.
