Enhance Catering in the Nottingham area is recruiting a Relief Chef Manager to support catering operations at primary schools. You will lead a team, cook fresh meals for volume and maintain high standards.

This role suits an experienced Chef Manager or Head Chef ready to step up, with strong leadership and food-safety focus. It is term-time, 30 hours per week (7.30am to 2pm), with DBS and industry qualifications provided.

Enhance Catering is supporting a valued client in recruiting a Relief Chef Manager to support the catering operations at there primary schools in the Nottingham area. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident, hands‑on chef who enjoys leading a team, working with fresh ingredients, and delivering a high‑quality food service.

You will be an experienced Chef Manager, Cook Manager, Strong Head Chef, Sous Chef or ambitious CDP ready to step up, with excellent cooking and people-management skills. You take pride in running a well‑organised, efficient kitchen and are confident producing high‑quality meals at volume.

What You'll be doing

What Is On Offer

• Pay Rate - £19,000 per annum
• Working Hours - 30 hours per week | 7.30am to 2pm (these hours may vary slightly depending on the school)

Essential Requirement for this role:

• Commute time within an hour of Nottingham
• Previous Head Chef, Chef Manager, Cook, Sous, CDP experience (ideally B&I, Education or healthcare. Fresh food pubs/ restaurants will be considered)
