Enhance Catering in the Nottingham area is recruiting a Relief Chef Manager to support catering operations at primary schools. You will lead a team, cook fresh meals for volume and maintain high standards.

This role suits an experienced Chef Manager or Head Chef ready to step up, with strong leadership and food-safety focus. It is term-time, 30 hours per week (7.30am to 2pm), with DBS and industry qualifications provided.

Qualifications

• Previous Head Chef, Chef Manager, Cook, Sous, or CDP experience considered
• Strong leadership and people-management skills
• Commitment to high-quality meals and fresh ingredients

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage small teams
• Catering for 100+ covers daily
• Prepare and deliver fresh, seasonal food to a consistently high standard
• Manage, motivate, and develop the catering team
• Ensure full compliance with all food safety, health & safety, and due diligence requirements
• Build and maintain positive working relationships with onsite stakeholders and clients
• Oversee stock control, ordering, and kitchen organisation
• Drive food quality, consistency, and presentation
