ILLUME RECRUITMENT is seeking an experienced Chef Manager for a Plymouth-based contract catering site in Devon. The role leads a team of 10, with a focus on training, development and strong client relationships while managing budgets and costs.

The ideal candidate will bring a proven background in contract catering and a flair for developing new concepts. The position involves hands-on leadership with responsibility for food safety and team engagement, within a Monday to Friday pattern at a site

Qualifications

• Must currently be at Chef Manager level.
• Proven background in contract catering.
• Experience in Staff Dining/Retail with ability to create new street food concepts.
• Strong knowledge of Food Safety practices.
• Excellent people skills and ability to maintain client relationships.

Monday to Friday

I am currently looking to recruit an experienced Chef Manager for my client's site based in Plymouth.

My client is one of the leading contract caterers, with a strong focus on fresh produce and the development of their people. As the Chef Manager, you will be responsible for a team of 10 staff ensuring training, development and management of the team. You will be financially responsible and able to manage budget and costs.

The ideal Chef Manager will have the following skills/ knowledge;

• Currently at Chef Manager level
• Have a proven background within contract catering
• Experience within Staff Dining/ Retail with creative flair to come up with new street food concepts
• Strong knowledge of all Food Safety practices
• Fantastic people skills and strong client relationships
