The Earls High School in Halesowen is seeking a Chef Manager or Catering Manager to lead a busy kitchen operation on a Monday–Friday schedule during term time. You’ll manage a team, deliver high‑quality meals for students, and shape menus while enjoying a strong work‑life balance.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent.
• Level 2 Food Safety Certificate.
• 1 year hands-on cooking experience.
• Experience in education catering desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day catering operation and team.
• Hands-on with food preparation and cooking.
• Oversee food service and ensure high standards.
• Manage food ordering, stock, replenishment and waste.
• Control catering costs including labour and food.
