Job summary

Berkeley-Scott is recruiting an experienced Chef Manager for flexible agency work across schools and catering sites in and around Peacehaven. You will manage daily kitchen operations, lead teams, plan nutritious meals, and uphold high hygiene standards.

The role offers flexible agency assignments with competitive hourly pay and ongoing support from the Berkeley-Scott recruitment team. Applicants should have 2+ years in a Chef Manager role and the right to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Chef Manager or in a similar kitchen management role.
• Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills.
• Two satisfactory references and Enhanced DBS required.

What we're looking for:

• Experience working within schools or contract catering is desirable
• Two satisfactory references
• An Enhanced DBS certificate
• The right to work in the UK
• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle would be an advantage, but is not essential
