Job summary

Berkeley-Scott is recruiting experienced Chef Managers to join our agency team for exciting opportunities across schools and catering businesses in and around Crawley starting in September.

Flexible agency assignments with competitive hourly pay (£18.00-£24.00) and ongoing support from the Berkeley-Scott recruitment team. This role involves managing kitchen operations across multiple sites in Crawley and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Chef Manager or in a similar kitchen management role.
• Two satisfactory references.
• An Enhanced DBS certificate.
• The right to work in the UK.
• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle would be an advantage, but is not essential.

Responsibilities

• Managing the day-to-day running of busy kitchens.
• Leading, motivating and supporting kitchen teams.
• Planning and delivering high-quality, nutritious meals.
• Maintaining excellent food hygiene, health & safety and allergen standards.
• Managing stock, ordering and minimising waste.
