Chef Manager

Here at Pertemps Network Catering, we are currently recruiting for a Chef Manager to work alongside our clients in the Birmingham area.

Hours: 7 am - 2.30 pm

Days: Monday - Friday

Enhanced DBS needed

This position involves working in elementary and secondary schools, as well as care homes. You will be responsible for preparing well-balanced and appetising meals for approximately 100 to 800 students, supporting their well-being and academic success.

Chef Manager Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook lunch for students.
• Oversee food production and cooking processes.
• Manage food ordering and supplies.
• Maintain a clean and organised kitchen, adhering to safety and hygiene standards.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff for smooth operations.
• Adapt menus for dietary needs and allergies.
• Monitor food quality, portion control, and waste reduction.
• Maintain kitchen equipment and report issues.
• Assist with inventory records and budget management.
• Follow health and safety regulations and food handling standards.

Chef Manager Qualifications:

• GNVQ Level 2/3
