Job summary

Ad Warrior Ltd is recruiting a Chef de Partie for Wymondham College in Wymondham. This permanent role is 37.5 hours per week, term time only, with a salary of FTE £26,016 per annum or pro-rata £21,280 per annum, including holiday pay and shift allowance.

The post holder will support the Catering Manager, Executive Chef and Sous Chef, work as part of a dedicated team to produce the campus main meals and uphold health and safety standards across the kitchen and service areas.

Qualifications

• A good level of literacy and numeracy.
• Previous experience in a busy kitchen with knowledge of food preparation, production and service.
• Good oral and written communication skills to liaise with staff and students.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety and Food Hygiene regulations for food prep, service and storage.

Responsibilities

• Provide kitchen support to the College Catering Department.
• Work as part of a team to produce the main campus meals.
• Assist with food preparation, production and service in a busy kitchen.
