Job summary

Sapientia Education Trust's Wymondham College seeks a Chef de Partie to join the Catering Department. The role is permanent, 37.5 hours per week, term time only, with an annual FTE salary of £26,016 or pro-rata £21,280 including holiday pay and shift allowances.

Starting October 2026 / as soon as possible. You will work with the Catering Manager, Executive Chef and Sous Chef to support meal production for the campus and uphold health, safety and food hygiene standards across the college's

Qualifications

• A good level of literacy and numeracy.
• Previous experience in a busy kitchen, with knowledge of food preparation, production and service.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Good knowledge of Health and Safety and Food Hygiene regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide kitchen support to the Catering Department.
• Assist in producing main meals for the campus.
• Work as part of a team to deliver high-quality catering services.
