Job summary

BaxterStorey in Bristol is seeking a Chef de Partie/Sous Chef to join our culinary team on a 30-hour week at £14 per hour. You will prepare and cook dishes to our standards, manage your station and contribute to menu development.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or Sous Chef.
• Knowledge of cooking techniques and cuisines.

Responsibilities

• Food Preparation – prepare and cook dishes per head chef recipes and standards while upholding food safety.
• Station Management – oversee dishes at your station and keep area stocked and clean.
• Quality Control – maintain high quality, presentation, and taste.
• Team Collaboration – communicate with team and assist colleagues.
• Menu Development – collaborate with Executive Chef to test and refine recipes.
• Cleaning and Maintenance – ensure kitchen cleanliness and equipment readiness.
