About The Role

As a Chef de Partie, you will assist the Sous Chef & Head Chef in delivering Butlins' food propositions.

You will be responsible for a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring the safe preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes according to set recipes and brand standards.

You will oversee and manage small teams of commis chefs, ensuring the delivery of food in compliance with food safety policies. You will be enrolled in our award-winning Butlins Chef Academy to enhance your skills in a fun and educational environment, supporting your progression to more senior roles.

In this role, you will deputise in the absence of the sous chef, manage daily operations in your section, and ensure efficiency and safety compliance. Maintaining a clean and organised workstation and demonstrating health and safety responsibilities as a standard to your team is essential. You will lead, train, and mentor commis chefs with guidance and support.

You will prepare and cook dishes following pre-approved recipes, complete relevant daily food diaries, and support budget control alongside the Head Chef and Sous Chef.

About You

Energetic, enthusiastic, high-spirited, and fun-loving candidates who understand their role in enhancing guest experiences are ideal. You must have passed your Level 3 Food Safety qualification and be confident in leading a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

You will also be responsible for managing margins, controlling costs, and adhering to health, safety, and hygiene standards.
