Job summary

Fort Augustus, Scotland — Sodexo Energy & Resources is seeking a Chef de Partie to own a dedicated kitchen section, delivering high-quality dishes with strict health and safety standards. You will shape the resident experience through well-presented meals and proactive engagement with residents, creating a welcoming home-from-home atmosphere.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds 706/1 and 706/2 (or equivalent).
• Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate (REHIS or equivalent) – mandatory.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Understanding of COSHH, food safety and hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure prompt service of all meals at required times to Company and Client standards.
• Prepare and cook food to agreed standards and required quantities.
• Maintain strict compliance with food safety standards, including temperature control and hygiene procedures.
• Manage and rotate stock to ensure food safety, minimise waste and support cost control.
• Comply fully with Health and Safety at Work legislation.
• Support catering budget control and efficient use of resources.
• Deputise for the Head Chef when required.
• Maintain awareness and compliance with company and client policies, risk assessments and safe systems of work.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues, supervisors and clients.
