Qualifications

  • Experience in baking desirable but not essential as training will be given.
  • Must be able to run sections independently, including mains, salad, hospitality and breakfast.

Job Description

  • Full-time -Monday to Friday
  • Hours Per Week:40hours per weeksubject to requirements of the business
  • Salary: £32,000 to £34,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities:

  • To prepare food to a high standard in any area required by the senior chefs
  • To assist in any extra functions.
  • To provide to a consistently high standard for functions and different dining areas.
  • To manage the staff restaurant and hospitality when requested by senior chefs
  • To ensure smooth running of daily operations
  • Hygiene and personal hygiene checks
  • Staff food standards
  • Waste control
  • To ensure all Health, Hygiene and Safety requirements are being adhered to as described in the Searcy Health & Safety Policy
  • To comply with all legal requirements with particular reference to (but not exclusively) fire regulations, security, licence requirements and any Local Authority or Client stipulations.
  • Any other reasonable request of Senior Management
  • Must be able to run sections independently, including mains, salad, hospitality and breakfast
  • Experience in baking desirable but not essential as training will be given
  • A person looking for next career move to step up to Junior Sous/Sous chef level
  • Must be confident in all aspects of ordering and stocktaking
