Job summary

Parkdean Resorts is seeking a Chef de Partie to join our busy UK kitchen teams. You’ll work closely with Head Chef and Sous Chef to produce tasty, well-presented dishes, lead a section, and help deliver memorable holiday experiences.

You’ll manage your station, ensure hygiene, portion control, and stock handling, while staying calm under pressure during service. Flexible shifts including weekends and bank holidays are required; a Food Hygiene Level 2 certificate is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a kitchen section in a busy, high‑volume environment.
• Ability to perform well under pressure and stay organised during service.
• Passion for producing high‑quality food that enhances guest experience.
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and bank holidays.
• Food Hygiene Level 2 certificate or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead a kitchen section and prepare dishes to company specifications.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene throughout service and ensure end‑of‑shift clean.
• Check and record food temperatures in line with procedures.
• Prepare food preps during service and restock your section as needed.
• Control portions to maximise margins and minimise waste.
• Receive and store deliveries; manage stock rotation and food safety.
• Communicate clearly with the kitchen team to support smooth service.
• Adhere to health and safety standards, allergen policies, and equipment use.
• Carry out deep-clean tasks as required by the Head Chef.
