Upstairs at the Grill in Chester is seeking a skilled Chef de Partie to join our refined kitchen brigade. Inspired by Manhattan steakhouses, we use premium steaks and fresh ingredients to deliver a high-quality dining experience.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated chef to develop within a professional, produce-led kitchen that values work/life balance and a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Demi Chef de Partie.
• Passion for fresh food, quality produce and fine dining standards.
• Ability to work calmly and efficiently in a busy service environment.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in presentation.
• Reliable team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Responsabilités

• Run your section efficiently and consistently during service.
• Prepare and cook high-quality dishes using fresh, premium ingredients.
• Work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chefs to maintain standards.
• Support junior chefs with training and day-to-day guidance.
• Maintain excellent food hygiene, safety and cleanliness standards.
• Assist with stock rotation, prep and section organisation.
