Job summary

BaxterStorey is seeking a Chef de Partie in the Isleworth, London area to join a dynamic kitchen team. You will be responsible for food preparation, station management, quality control, and collaboration with the head chef to develop menus.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working as a Commis Chef or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines.
• Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Responsibilities

• Food Preparation – prepare and cook dishes according to recipes and standards set by head/sous chef; ensure food safety standards at all times.
• Station Management – oversee production of dishes at your station and maintain cleanliness and supplies.
• Quality Control – maintain high quality, presentation, and taste of dishes.
• Team Collaboration – communicate effectively with all team members and assist colleagues as needed.
• Menu Development – collaborate with head chef to develop and taste new recipes.
