Job summary
Compass Group UK&I Defence division is recruiting a Chef de Partie for Defence operations on a full-time 37.5 hours/week contract. You will prepare delicious, high-quality food and support menu changes to delight clients across secure sites.
The ideal candidate holds City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ, has a Food Hygiene certificate, and experience supervising a kitchen team. This role offers progression within a market-leading group that rewards effort.
Qualifications
- City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent required.
- Experience supervising a kitchen team.
- Food hygiene certificate and safe food handling practices.
Responsibilities
- Prepare high-quality food for clients and customers.
- Oversee and implement menu changes.
- Identify opportunities to improve food services.
- Respond to customer feedback to enhance service.
- Assist with creation of new menus and concepts.
- Represent Defence and maintain a positive brand image.
- Monitor inventories and keep kitchens stocked.
- Oversee kitchen cleaning to maintain hygiene standards.
- Comply with Food Handling, Hygiene and Safety regulations.
