Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is recruiting a Chef for Defence on a full-time basis, contracted to 37.5 hours per week. You will prepare high-quality meals, lead a kitchen team, and help develop menus while upholding hygiene and safety standards.

The role offers opportunities for progression within a market-leading food service company in the UK. The ideal candidate has City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent, plus experience supervising a team and a Food Hygiene certificate.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare delicious food for clients and customers.
• Oversee and implement menu changes.
• Identify opportunities to enhance food services.

• Aid in creating new menus and concepts.
• Represent Defence with a positive brand image.
• Monitor inventories to keep kitchens stocked.
• Oversee kitchen cleanliness to maintain hygiene.
