Job summary

Young's Pubs is seeking a Chef de Partie for the Old Manor in Potters Bar. You’ll join a friendly, dog‑friendly community pub and contribute to a kitchen that delivers quality, fresh dishes in a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Experience as Chef de Partie or strong Commis Chef seeking next step.
• Passion for producing quality fresh food in a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Have experience championing excellent service through quality food.
• Demonstrate a passion to deliver fantastic food every time.
• Be an active hands‑on Chef de Partie / Kitchen Supervisor.
• Show willingness to learn new skills, be an active team player with excellent communication skills.
• Work with the Head Chef to design and deliver new dishes for menus and daily specials.
• Demonstrate great planning and organisational skills to maintain GP and labour controls.
• Have a proactive approach to driving sales and growth through kitchen and front-of-house engagement.
