The Seagate in Appledore, North Devon, is looking for an experienced Chef de Partie to join a busy, food-led kitchen. You will work on from-scratch cooking, support a brigade, and help deliver fresh, seasonal specials using local produce.

Qualifications

• Experience as Chef de Partie or a strong Commis Chef aiming for the next step.
• Passion and flair for fresh food in a welcoming environment.
• Hands-on leadership in a busy kitchen under Head Chef.
• Excellent communication and teamwork within the brigade.
• Willingness to learn, adapt, and design new dishes.
• Strong planning to manage GP and labour with a pro-active approach.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Head Chef to design and deliver new dishes for menus and daily specials.
• Demonstrate planning and organisational skills to maintain GP and labour controls.
• Drive sales and growth through engagement with kitchen and front of house teams.
