BaxterStorey is seeking a Chef de Partie for our Sunderland kitchen, SR5 3HZ, offering £14.56 per hour. You will be responsible for food preparation, station management, and ensuring high standards of quality and safety within a fast-paced environment.

You will work under Head/Sous Chefs, develop dishes with the team, and contribute to a culture that emphasises training, wellbeing, and development. Free meals on shift and generous holiday accrual are among the benefits.

Qualifikationen

• Proven experience working as a Commis Chef or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines.
• Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

• Food Preparation – prepare and cook dishes according to recipes and standards while ensuring food safety.
• Station Management – oversee the production of dishes at your station and maintain cleanliness.
• Quality Control – uphold high quality in presentation and taste.

• Menu Development – contribute ideas with heads to develop and taste new recipes.
