Job summary

BaxterStorey in Greater London is seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to join a multi award-winning contract catering team. You’ll deliver culinary excellence, plan well-costed menus, monitor stock, and inspire the team to exceed customer expectations in a high-standard operation.

Role: 40 hours per week, 7am–3:30pm, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend/evening work. Annual salary of £35,500 with overtime and possible weekend work benefits.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in a similar sized operation.
• Educated to C&G 1 & 2, NVQ or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on and proactive approach.
• Excellent time management and prioritising.
• Strong organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide food and service to a high standard, assisting senior chefs with functions.
• Manage stock levels for your section, including ordering when required.
• Ensure presentation matches the standards set by senior chefs.
• Uphold Health, Hygiene and Safety requirements.
• Support other reasonable requests from Senior Management.
