Job summary

Wymondham College is seeking a Chef De Partie to join the Catering Department. You will provide kitchen support and contribute to producing main meals for the campus, reporting to the Catering Manager, Executive Chef and Sous Chef.

The role is permanent, 37.5 hours per week, term time only, starting October 2026. Salary is GBP 26,016 FTE per annum, or GBP 21,280 pro rata per annum including holiday and shift allowances.

Qualifications

• A good level of literacy and numeracy.
• Experience in a busy kitchen with knowledge of food preparation, production and service.
• Strong oral and written communication with staff and students.
• Good knowledge of Health and Safety and Food Hygiene regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide kitchen support to the College Catering Department.
• Work as part of a team producing the main meals for the campus.
• Liaise with Catering staff and students to ensure smooth service.
