Job summary

Wymondham College is seeking a Chef de Partie to join its busy catering team on a permanent basis. You will report to the Catering Manager and work across the campus to prepare main meals for students and staff.

The role is 37.5 hours per week, term time only, with starting October 2026 or as soon as possible. Salary is £26,016 full-time per year, pro-rata £21,280, including holiday and shift allowances.

Qualifications

• A good level of literacy and numeracy.
• Experience in a busy kitchen with knowledge of food preparation, production and service.
• Good oral and written communication with staff and students.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety and Food Hygiene regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide kitchen support to the College Catering Department as part of a team.
• Produce main meals for the campus and ensure high standards of service.
