Job summary

The Bull Hotel in Gerrards Cross is seeking a chef to join our brigade producing quality fresh foods for our Restaurant, Bars, Room Service and Meeting & Events areas. This is a 40 hour contract and the kitchen team will support a busy service with a focus on freshness and quality.

You will hold a minimum NVQ Level 2 in food preparation or equivalent, with experience in professional kitchens using fresh ingredients.

Qualifications

• Minimum of NVQ food preparation Level 2 or equivalent in a professional kitchen.
• Experience with fresh ingredients in a busy kitchen.
• Ability to work to health & safety regimes and cost controls.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present high quality dishes using fresh ingredients.
• Work on all sections as required and maintain product and service standards.
• Help control departmental costs including food costs and wages.
• Implement & monitor health, safety and hygiene practices.
• Motivate, coach and train junior team members.
• Collaborate with team to ensure smooth service.
