Job summary

Platinum Recruitment is working in partnership with a highly regarded independent hotel and restaurant in Hitchin, Hertfordshire, to recruit a Chef de Partie. You will take ownership of your section in an AA Rosette kitchen, cooking high-quality dishes and maintaining presentation standards.

You'll support the Sous Chef and Head Chef with daily operations, manage stock, and minimise waste while upholding food hygiene and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience as Chef de Partie in a AA Rosette kitchen is preferred.
• Able to prepare and cook high-quality dishes to standard.
• Strong understanding of food hygiene and kitchen safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and cooking fresh, high-quality dishes.
• Maintaining high standards of food presentation and consistency.
• Supporting the Sous Chef and Head Chef with daily kitchen operations.
• Ensuring food hygiene and health & safety standards are met.
• Assisting with stock control and minimising waste.
• Working closely with the team to deliver exceptional food every service.
