Job summary

Upham Inns is hiring a Chef de Partie to lead a kitchen section, uphold high standards and train junior staff. You will support the Head/Sous Chef in daily operations and work with our on-site team to deliver quality, fresh pub food.

The role offers flexible shifts, opportunity to progress to Head Chef, and staff benefits including discounts and training. Right to Work in the UK is required, with opportunities across Upham Inns pubs in the region.

Qualifications

• Be able to demonstrate experience in a similar level position
• Aptitude for leadership and guiding junior chefs
• Must have Right to Work in the UK

Responsibilities

• Be happy running a section ensuring high standards are maintained at all times
• Assist the Head chef/Sous chef in the smooth running of the kitchen
• Setting an example and guiding for junior chefs
• To complete all training in a timely manner
• To comply with statutory requirements for fire, health and safety, licensing and employment law and to ensure others are aware of these requirements
• Ensuring you can follow the Food safety laws and requirements
• Have a positive and approachable manner alongside strong team player qualities
