Job summary

KSB Recruitment is seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to join a busy hotel kitchen in Maidstone. This role offers 40 hours per week, immediate start, and a supportive team of eight chefs, with a focus on consistency and high standards.

Temp-to-perm opportunity with weekly pay in a professional hospitality environment, working on à la carte service and events, handling 80–100 covers daily, and room to progress.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie within a hotel or busy kitchen.
• Confident and capable in à la carte service.
• Strong understanding of kitchen operations and food preparation.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
• Reliable, professional, and a strong team player.
• Positive attitude with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and delivering high-quality dishes for à la carte service.
• Supporting busy dinner service and assisting with occasional events and functions.
• Working efficiently within a fast-paced kitchen producing around 80–100 covers per day.
• Maintaining excellent food hygiene, cleanliness, and kitchen organisation.
• Working with a menu based on both fresh and frozen ingredients.
• Supporting the wider kitchen team to ensure smooth, consistent service.

About the Role:

KSB Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to join a busy and well-organised hotel kitchen in Maidstone. This is a fantastic opportunity for a chef looking for stable hours within a professional and supportive environment, working as part of an experienced team of eight chefs. The kitchen has a strong focus on consistency, quality, and smooth service delivery, offering a genuine temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate.

The Role:
