Job summary

Quest Employment are recruiting for an experienced Chef de Partie to join the kitchen team at a busy venue in Bedford. You will work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with a focus on conferences, events and short-order service.

As part of a busy kitchen team, you will deliver high-quality food across events and functions while upholding food safety, cleanliness and presentation standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role.
• Experience working in a high-volume kitchen is essential.
• Conference, events, banqueting or function experience would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and cooking food to a consistently high standard.
• Working across conferences, events and high-volume service.
• Managing short-order cooking during busy periods.
• Supporting the senior kitchen team with the smooth running of the kitchen.
• Ensuring all food is prepared, stored and presented correctly.
• Maintaining high standards of hygiene, cleanliness and food safety.
• Working efficiently as part of a busy team.
• Helping with stock control and minimising food waste.

The Role

Working as part of a busy kitchen team, you will help deliver consistently high-quality food across a variety of events and functions, while maintaining excellent standards of food safety, cleanliness and presentation.
