Job Description
Specific Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook menu items as directed by the Head Chef.
  • Assist in menu planning, including exploring food trends and developing new service concepts.
  • Assist with stock taking when required.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of your section.
Client Service
  • Provide prompt and efficient service, exceeding customer expectations.
  • Be approachable and customer-focused at all times.
People
  • Be a team player, assisting colleagues as needed.
  • Treat team members with respect.
Health & Safety, Food Safety, Environment
  • Follow Hygiene, Health, and Safety policies.
  • Maintain cleanliness according to schedules.
  • Ensure proper storage of food in line with policies.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a CDP or similar role.
  • Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines.
  • Understanding of food safety and sanitation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
