Location: Pembroke, Wales

Contract: Fixed term contract - start date pre 19th August

Salary: £14-£16 per hour (48hr per week, 4 days on/3 days off)

As a Chef de Partie, you will be a vital member of our culinary team, tasked with the create and execute innovative dishes throughout various service times.

Job Description

  • Manage a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring excellent preparation and presentation of dishes.
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef and sous chefs to craft menu items aligned with the project’s culinary goals.
  • Ensure all dishes meet high standards of quality, taste, and presentation consistently.
  • Efficiently utilize kitchen resources, minimising waste and optimising ingredient use.
  • Maintain rigorous health and safety standards, promoting a clean and safe kitchen environment.
  • Coordinate with team members to guarantee smooth service delivery during busy periods.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record as a Chef de Partie or extensive experience in a similar role within a fast-paced kitchen.
  • Advanced culinary skills, with expertise in various cooking methods and techniques.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills, able to thrive in a bustling setting.
  • Flexible availability, willing to work night shifts and weekends if necessary.
  • Attention to detail with a steadfast commitment to maintaining high standards of kitchen hygiene and organisation.
