Platinum Recruitment Consultancy is seeking a Chef de Partie for a countryside setting near Shaftesbury. The role offers £30,000-£32,000 salary with a varied kitchen operation covering restaurant service, weddings and events.

Based in or around Shaftesbury, the successful candidate will join a passionate kitchen team, work with fresh, seasonal produce, and contribute to multiple service types in a beautiful rural venue.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or experienced Commis Chef
• Genuine passion for fresh, seasonal food
• Good organisation and time-management skills
• Ability to work calmly and efficiently during busy services
• Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
• Good understanding of food hygiene and kitchen standards
• Own transport is essential, as the venue is in a rural location and travel to the site is required

• As Chef de Partie, you'll play an important role in the kitchen, helping to deliver consistently high standards across every service.
• Preparing and cooking dishes to a consistently high standard
• Taking responsibility for your designated section during service
• Maintaining excellent food quality, presentation and portion control
• Following food safety, hygiene and allergen procedures
• Supporting the wider kitchen team during busy services
• Helping with preparation for weddings, events and restaurant service
• Keeping your section clean, organised and well stocked
• Supporting junior members of the kitchen team when required
