Fire Group is recruiting a passionate Chef de Partie to join the kitchen team of a beautiful country house hotel in the New Forest. You’ll work as part of a talented brigade, preparing and presenting dishes to a consistently high standard and supporting smooth service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and present dishes to a high standard

• Working closely with the wider kitchen team to deliver a consistently high-quality food offering

The Role

As Chef de Partie you will be working as part of a talented kitchen brigade, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking dishes to a consistently high standard, whilst helping to ensure the smooth running of the kitchen during busy services.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes to a high standard
• Taking responsibility for your section during service
• Supporting with menu development and new dishes
• Assisting with the training and development of more junior chefs
• Maintaining excellent food hygiene and kitchen standards
• Ensuring your section is organised, clean and ready for service
• Working closely with the wider kitchen team to deliver a consistently high-quality food offering
• Maintaining standards during busy periods and supporting the team wherever required

About You

We are looking for a Chef de Partie with previous experience within a quality Hotel, restaurant or similar high end hospitality environment.

You'll ideally have:

• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or an experienced Commis Chef ready for the next step
• Good all-round kitchen skills
• A genuine passion for food and high standards
• The ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Strong attention to detail
• A relevant culinary qualification would be advantageous but is not essential
