The Oystercatcher, part of St Austell Brewery, is a contemporary bar and restaurant in Polzeath seeking an ambitious chef for its busy kitchen. You’ll work with locally sourced produce to deliver quality dishes and contribute to a welcoming dining experience for guests who visit after a day on the coast.

Job description

The Oystercatcher is a contemporary bar and restaurant with comfy accommodation that enjoys an enviable outlook over Polzeath Beach and out to sea, from both inside and across its spectacular al fresco space.

You’ll be working at a scenic pub that’s popular among families, couples, and surfers seeking a delicious bite to eat following a session on the waves or a day out exploring Cornwall’s dramatic north coast.

Are you an ambitious Chef with experience of working in a fast-paced environment? Join our talented kitchen team and you’ll be working alongside passionate people, cooking with locally sourced produce to provide quality food that delights our guests. As a chef you will work as a team ensuring the correct procedures are followed and specifications for each dish are precisely met.
