Qualifications

  • Experience working in a fast-paced kitchen at CDP or junior sous chef level.

Job description

Contract: Full Time, Permanent
Salary: 24000
Hours: 40 per week

A private day school for girls aged 11–18 located in the City of Westminster, London. Catering for about 600 students and teachers daily. We offer a core feeding of Breakfast, AM & PM breaks, lunch, and a 6th Form café. There is also some hospitality at this location. It operates Monday to Friday and is Term Time only. This location benefits from great transport links.

We are looking for a talented Chef De Partie to join our team at one of our prestigious locations in London.

You will have previous experience working within a fast-paced kitchen at CDP or junior sous chef level.

You will be excited to work with fresh seasonal ingredients & regularly changing bespoke menus. You will be creative and have the opportunity to showcase your skillset.

Key responsibilities:

  • Work well in a team of chefs providing catering services to pupils and teachers
  • Produce food for service using fresh ingredients, cooking from scratch, and following the company's brand standards
  • Ensure company food standards are adhered to and wastage is controlled
  • Follow all Food Hygiene and Health & Safety policies and allergen control procedures

You will have the following skills:

  • A genuine interest in food & excellent customer service
  • An all-round team player
  • Innovation and passion for great food
  • An organized Chef with attention to detail
  • Understanding of food cost and wastage basics
  • Good verbal English skills
  • Good written English and reading skills
  • Experience in customer service and/or food preparation environments is preferred
