OUR HOTEL

Due to an increase in business, we are now looking for an outstanding Chef de Partie to join our award winning Kitchen team. Hourly rate negotiable along with share of tips, paid monthly. This is a great opportunity to join us at the award-winning Daisy Taskers Restaurant located within Hotel Indigo, Dundee. Hotel Indigo has 102 beautifully appointed bedrooms and suites, Daisy Tasker is a 80 cover restaurant serving a wide mixture of classic and hotel favorites.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CHEF DE PARTIE AT OUR HOTEL

What you'll be doing:

  1. Take charge of your section, cooking up incredible dishes that wow with flavour and flair.
  2. Bring your creativity to every plate, ensuring the highest standards of presentation and taste.
  3. Keep the kitchen flowing smoothly by prepping and organising like a pro, so every service is seamless.
  4. Work closely with the kitchen team, communicating with precision to deliver dishes on time.
  5. Maintain a pristine workspace, from your station to the tools you use – cleanliness is key.
  6. Help monitor stock levels, so we’re always ready to serve up favorites without a hitch.
  7. Contribute to menu planning and development, bringing fresh ideas to the table.

What We Need From You

  • A passion for culinary excellence and a drive to create memorable dining experiences.
  • Proven experience in a busy kitchen, ideally in a Chef de Partie role or similar.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to handle high-paced service with ease.
  • Creativity and a keen eye for detail when it comes to plating and presentation.
  • Team spirit, supporting the brigade to keep standards high and service smooth.
  • Dedication to cleanliness, food safety, and upholding health regulations.
