Job summary

Hydes Brewery in the UK invites applications for a part-time Chef de Partie at The Pack Horse pub. You’ll deliver seasonal dishes to spec in a friendly, supportive brigade, covering starters, mains and desserts, with responsibilities including ordering and stock checks.

You’ll join a team that values development with funded hospitality qualifications and clear progression opportunities, while enjoying benefits such as discounted food and uniforms.

Qualifications

• Experience as Chef de Partie or commis looking to progress.
• Experience in fresh food environments preferred.
• Ability to prepare a range of starters, mains and desserts to spec.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality dishes to seasonal menus and daily specials.
• Support Sous and Head Chef with stock management and food ordering.
• Maintain a 5-star standard and ensure dishes meet spec.

What you’ll be doing as Chef de Partie?

Here at Hydes, food quality and looking after our people is key. As our Chef de Partie, you will enjoy delivering excellent food standards always, to deliver our seasonal menus and daily specials, in a friendly and supportive environment. As a key member of the brigade, you will have an attention to detail, ensuring all dishes are prepared to spec, and have experience of all stations with the ability to produce a range of starters, mains and desserts. You will also support your Sous and Head Chef with food ordering, stock management, and maintaining a 5-star rating. You will have previous experience, preferably in a fresh food environment. You may also be a commis who is looking to progress.

History being particularly famous for its resident skull, reported to belong to the Early of Derby’s executioner.
