Job summary

Searcys is recruiting a Chef de Partie for The Pump Room in Bath. This full-time role offers 44 hours per week and a chance to contribute to the Georgian Pump Room’s renowned dining experiences, including afternoon tea and live music.

You will work within a structured team to deliver exceptional culinary experiences. The role focuses on modern British cuisine, brunch, and traditional afternoon tea, with benefits including staff meals, pension enrollment, and generous annual leave.

Responsibilities

• To prepare food to a high standard in any area required by the senior chefs.

Searcys are looking for a Chef De Partie to join the team at the our unique Venue The Pump Room.

The Georgian Pump Room has been the social heart of Bath for more than two centuries, take a seat, enjoy an award-winning afternoon tea and sample the spa water from the fountain, whilst listening to incredible music from the Pump Room Trio or our resident pianist.

As a Chef de Partie in this venue, you will get a chance to create the finest quality of dishes and deliver exceptional culinary experiences for our guests. You will be part of a structured team, that you will work closely with to create the perfect dinning experience.

Salary: £29,741.40 + Tronc

Key Responsibilities

• To prepare food to a high standard in any area required by the senior chefs

• Staff food standards
• Waste control
• To ensure all Health, Hygiene and Safety requirements are being adhered to as described in the Searcy Health & Safety Policy
• To comply with all legal requirements with particular reference to (but not exclusively) fire regulations, security, licence requirements and any Local Authority or Client stipulations.
• Any other reasonable request of Senior Management
• Very well organised and ability to prioritise work load
• Ability to work under pressure
• Excellent standards
• Experience in working in a 5 star hotel or Michelin star restaurant is desirable
• Able to work effectively as part of a team
