Job summary

Sodexo Live! at Aberdeen International Airport - Northern Lights Lounge is hiring a Chef de Partie to join our lively team. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of food preparation and presentation in a fast-paced airport lounge environment.

The role offers a casual contract with potential progression to permanent upon obtaining references for full-time employment. Hours are 30 per week, with shifts starting early morning through to early evening.

Qualifications

• Chef de Partie experience.
• Should be flexible with the shift timings.

Responsibilities

• Dress according to standards and guidelines and wear the supplied uniform at all times when on duty.
• Use only products and equipment supplied for the job.
• Sign off H&S & F&S documentation daily after tasks are completed.
• Comply with food safety, health and safety and personal hygiene procedures.
• Sign in/out on shift and follow the rota.
• Attend training sessions and staff meetings as requested.
• Act as a positive ambassador for the business and demonstrate company values.
• Follow sickness, lateness and holiday procedures.

What you'll do

• To dress accordingly to the standards and guidelines advised, and wear the supplied uniform garments at all times when on duty and maintain the highest standards of personal hygiene.
• To only use products and equipment supplied and specifically for the job.
• Ensure that all H&S & F&S documentation for example cleaning schedules and temperature records are signed off daily once all tasks have been completed.
• Comply with all legal and company procedures / polices relating to food safety, health and safety and personal hygiene.
• Sign in and out when on shift to ensure hours worked are paid correctly. Follow the shift’s rota.
• Attend training sessions and staff meetings as requested and use the training given when necessary.
• Act as a positive ambassador for the business and show commitment to company values in all aspects of your role.
• Follow procedures for sickness, lateness and holidays.
