Job summary

Contract Options in Witney, Oxfordshire is seeking an experienced Evening Chef for a temporary-to-permanent role. The position involves working evenings, cooking for around 150 people across two services, and progressing within the company after 12 weeks.

Immediate start, with free meals on duty and weekly pay. You will reheat and serve daily meals, prepare dishes from fresh, and maintain high standards of hygiene in a fast-paced contract catering environment.

• Ability to work on own initiative and independently at night.

£16.00 per hour - Monday to Friday 6:00pm2:00am Immediate Start

We are recruiting for an experienced Chef to join a well-established contract catering team in Witney, Oxfordshire, on a temp-to-perm basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Commis Chef who is ready to take the next step in their career and develop their skills in a professional catering environment.

Youll work alongside another chef, catering for approximately 150 people across two evening services.

What youll be doing as an chef

• Reheating and serving fresh food prepared by the day team
• Cooking some dishes from fresh
• Preparing fresh salads for the salad bar
• Preparing and carrying out prep for the breakfast service
• Keeping kitchen areas clean and tidy
• Adhering to food hygiene and health & safety regulations
• Supporting with general kitchen porter duties
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment

There is a dedicated night cleaner for the restaurant, so your main focus will be ondelivering great food and excellent service.

What we are looking for

• Own transport is essential due to the location and working hours
